Being close to Walt Disney World is one of the reasons families choose Windsor Hills vacation rentals. The community sits off North Old Lake Wilson Road, with access to the main roads serving the Disney area. You can also use Windsor Hills as a base for Universal Orlando and SeaWorld, while returning to your own space at the end of the day.
Disney World is a large destination. The drive to a parking entrance, time through security and the journey to the park gate are separate parts of your morning. Check the route for the actual park you are visiting, not just “Walt Disney World.”
Walt Disney World: four different park days
Walt Disney World’s four theme parks each deserve their own plan. Disney’s Animal Kingdom brings wildlife and immersive lands; Magic Kingdom is the classic castle-and-attractions day; EPCOT combines themed experiences with World Showcase; and Disney’s Hollywood Studios suits visitors looking forward to its movie-inspired worlds.

Buy the right admission for your dates and review current park-entry requirements directly with Disney. Do not assume that staying at Windsor Hills includes Disney hotel benefits, park tickets or transportation. Those arrangements are separate from your vacation rental.
Universal Orlando, including Epic Universe
Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure are served by the main Universal parking complex. Universal Epic Universe has a separate arrival location, so choosing the right destination matters. Use Universal’s official directions and parking information before you travel.
A Universal day usually needs a more substantial journey from Windsor Hills than a nearby Disney outing. Keep the morning simple: breakfast at home, bags packed the night before and time allowed for I-4 traffic. Check the main Universal parking route or check the Epic Universe route. Confirm which parks your ticket covers before making reservations.
SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld adds a different mix of coasters, shows and marine-life experiences to a park-focused holiday. Review the official SeaWorld Orlando website for current attractions, show schedules and admission. Check your route from Windsor Hills to SeaWorld and allow time beyond the drive for parking and entry.
How to judge the journey
The route links start at the Windsor Hills entrance, rather than an individual home. Live traffic, your departure time and the exact parking area all affect the trip. Check the estimated arrival time on the morning of your visit and add time for parking and walking. This is more useful than relying on a single fixed “minutes from the parks” claim.
Build in a quieter day
A full week of early starts can be tiring. Put a relaxed local day between your biggest park visits, keep a rainy-day alternative ready and choose an easy dinner near Windsor Hills for the night you return late.
